· Where is the Land?
Right at the moment the Company has earmarked the lands in the radius of 30 to 35 Kms from Bangalore International Airport. The land is already in demand as they are surrounded by many reputed International and National Projects.
· Where is the Layout?
Company has both the options. They can go for a site in residential layout and lease back for sandalwood cultivation or can go for land and lease back. Both the options are open.
· How about the size of the site or land?
Customer can opt for any size of his choice. Sites will be given in Sq.ft.
and land in Guntas.
· How about the suitability of land?
All required technicalities have been taken care while purchasing the land tomake it suitable for sandalwood cultivation.
· Is it only Sandalwood on the land?
No. Host plants to supply nutrients for the development of the sandalwood will be grown. But the net earning will be calculated only from Sandalwood as the income generated by host plants will be utilised completely for the development.
· Shall we sell the site or land before the lease period?
You can but the condition of cultivation never change whoever on the role after 15 years will get the profit earned out of sandalwood.
· Is it possible to grow sandalwood in 15 years?
In natural condition it takes more time but in protected condition with proper hosts it will grow in 15 years. But ultimate permission for cutting lies with the Institute of Wood Science & Technology for which one should be binding as on date. Depending on the level of maturity they may extend a bit this way or that way the cutting time.
· How do you return the site or land?
Sandalwood harvesting means removing completely up to roots. After harvest, the layout will be formed as per the Approved Masterplan and the sites will be returned to the owners.
· Can you not do one more harvest?
No. The lease will be only for one harvest of 15 years. Later they can build their own home by the earning and live peacefully.
